Most pet door inserts don’t accommodate big dogs or your home’s needs. They create drafts, compromise security, and disrupt your home’s appearance. A poorly fitted door is not just frustrating—it can cost you in heating bills, repairs, and pet discomfort. ## Built-In Dog Door Features That Large Dog Owners Love | **Feature** | **Description** | | Seamless Built-In Design | Fully integrated into your sliding glass door frame—no bulky inserts. | | XL and XXL Sizing Options | Specifically designed for breeds up to 130 lbs, like Great Danes and Retrievers. | | Enhanced Security & Insulation | Magnetic seals, locking panels, and dual-pane glass provide protection. | | Direct from Manufacturer | No retail markup—just better quality and personalized support. | ## Why Salt Lake City Pet Owners Trust Pet Door Products - 20+ Years of Industry Experience - Extra Large and Custom-Sized Door Options - 15-Year Structural Warranty - Made for Utah Climate with Insulated Materials - Trusted by Thousands of Local Pet Owners - Made and Assembled in the USA ## What Customers Say About Our Extra Large Dog Doors ![google](https://petdoorproducts.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-social-reviews/assets/images/icon/icon-google-small.png) [Barbara Hansen](https://search.google.com/local/reviews?placeid=ChIJN8IABB6LUocRyP02-wi3F_I) October 3, 2025 They were pleasant, professional, on time, quick and efficient. They were helpful and professional. The pet door looks and works great in my sliding door and my puppy loves going in and out as she pleases. It only took her a couple days to master it. It closes very securely and stays closed even with lots of wind (we live at the point of the mountain where we get tons of wind). I also don’t feel any heat/cooling loss through it. Overall great door and experience! ![google](https://petdoorproducts.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-social-reviews/assets/images/icon/icon-google-small.png) [Ron Pinarelli](https://search.google.com/local/reviews?placeid=ChIJN8IABB6LUocRyP02-wi3F_I) August 27, 2025 Stayed with schedule install was fast and no problems cleaned up and they were gone ![google](https://petdoorproducts.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-social-reviews/assets/images/icon/icon-google-small.png) [tommy lemke](https://search.google.com/local/reviews?placeid=ChIJN8IABB6LUocRyP02-wi3F_I) August 27, 2025 In home quote was quick and easy. 4-6 weeks for delivery of the product. Install took about 20 minutes. Installers were right on time and professional. Having the use of a whole sliding door is a game changer. I’ve already recommended this product to a few people. If you’re on the fence of an insert vs this product, I wouldn’t hesitate. Our dog loves it and has made our lives much easier. ![google](https://petdoorproducts.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-social-reviews/assets/images/icon/icon-google-small.png) [Tugsjargal Williams](https://search.google.com/local/reviews?placeid=ChIJN8IABB6LUocRyP02-wi3F_I) August 6, 2025 Great service.
